Forex trading

I've been trading the forex market since March 2008 with Oanda. Meanwhile, I'm carrying on a big project to build a complex Metatrader expert advisor that combines several short-term strategies with positive expectancy, thanks to robust position sizing and a few other clever tricks.

My other project with regards to forex EAs involves the coding of a comprehensive trading library that implements the rules of all the most common trading strategies and makes it considerably easier to write an advisor by providing a layer of abstraction to the average programmer.

For instance, the library implements Bill Williams's chaos theory as well as Ichimoku and neural networks, requiring the end user no more than a few function calls with custom parameters to write a solid expert advisor that can perform the usual tasks in a reliable way.

I'm well on my way to complete both projects, even though it might still be a while until the software reaches the kind of stability these applications require. Once the library is complete, I will likely share it under the coding section of my site along with the proper documentation.

If you want to know more about what I'm doing, or share code and ideas, just drop me a line!
