I started writing articles in the summer of 2007 with a piece on ethology or animal behaviour (in Italian) which I sent to professors and Ph.D. students in the field for an evaluation. Their response was utterly positive, which encouraged me to go on. The text is now published under the terms of the Creative Commons license, and since Wikipedia gave me beautiful images for my piece, I returned the favour by largely expanding the ethology article there.
I later decided to start writing in English, initially on sites that would just give me a lot of feedback rather than a good pay: you can find my very first articles on Helium.com and Associated Content among others. I later managed to get into the prestigious Suite101.com which, with the great advice of its editors, opened up a plethora of new job opportunities for me.
I then started selling full-rights licenses for my content on article marketplaces like Constant Content and Daily Article, for which I still write from time to time. Later on, I was hired to write the daily lead for the search engine-related ISEdb.com. Right now, I'm a freelance writer at online and print (60K circulation) magazine GizMag.com. To this date, I have authored over 300 pieces.
I specialize in educational material in the financial (especially forex investing) and sci/tech fields. If you want to know more about my writing services, you can take a look at my LinkedIn profile, browse through some of my writing samples, or just contact me directly.
